Terminal Apron Rehabilitation Project

Project Overview

XNA is undertaking a major rehabilitation of the terminal apron to ensure long-term safety, structural integrity, and operational efficiency for aircraft operations. The apron is the area directly adjacent to the terminal where aircraft park for boarding, deplaning, and servicing.

Key Project Goals:

  1. Replace concrete areas in poor condition
  2. Expand aircraft deicing and Remain Overnight (RON) parking capabilities
  3. Improve drainage, pavement strength, and lighting where needed
  4. Minimize operational disruption through phased construction

Why It Matters:

With continued passenger growth, maintaining high-quality airfield surfaces is critical to ensuring safety, reliability, and flexibility for airline operations at XNA.
