Mervin, appointed by Washington County (2020), is theDirector of the Center for Business & Economic Research at the University of Arkansas where he has worked for the past 16 years. Mr. Jebaraj brings a strong understanding of the local, national and international economy. He is a frequent speaker on matters involving the Arkansas economy. He is a member of the Community Development Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St.Louis. Mr. Jebaraj earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations and his master’s degrees in public administration and public policy from the University of Arkansas.
