
Jonathan, appointed by Benton County in 2019, is a self-employed building contractor with a career spanning construction, real estate development, and property management.
He is a former three-term member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, where he chaired the Committee on Public Transportation. He is also a former Chairman of the Arkansas State Highway Commission and helped advance major Northwest Arkansas transportation improvements, including I-49, the Bella Vista bypass, the Springdale bypass, the airport access road, and improvements to AR 59.
Jonathan served 16 years as Arkansas’s National Committeeman on the Republican National Committee, where he served on several national committees and chaired the Arkansas Electoral College in 2012, 2016, and 2024. He has also served on the Siloam Springs City Council, chaired Arkansas State Building Services, served as president of the Siloam Springs Homebuilders Association, and was inducted into the Arkansas Boys State Hall of Fame.
He currently serves as President of the Dawn Hill Property Owners Association. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from John Brown University and is a lifelong resident of Siloam Springs. He and his wife, Christy, have three children and ten grandchildren.
