Art, appointed by the City of Siloam Springs (1994), is a retired bank president. He retired in 2010 from Arkansas State Bank after 27 years of service (51 years in the banking industry), the last 12 years as bank president. He served on the board of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority for 12 years and on several state banking committees. Art has served on the Northwest Arkansas Agency on Aging board since 1994. He and his wife Diane have been married for 66 years and have2 children and 2 grandchildren. He is a graduate of Draughon’s Business College and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
