  The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport operates with an administrative staff, maintenance, and fire and police departments. The estimated 50 full- and part-time employees enjoy an interesting and eventful place to work. No two days at the airport are ever the same. Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority – Request for Proposals Information Technologies Evaluation at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA)

The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority invites qualified companies to submit a proposal to conduct an information technologies evaluation at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA). To obtain the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, access our website at www.flyxna.com or call (479)205-1000 extension #7.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at XNA on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 9:00 am CST in the west conference room. Please see the RFP documents for details.

Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority, Attention: Scott Vanlaningham, Executive Director, One Airport Blvd., Ste #100, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Please carefully follow all RFP instructions to ensure all requirements are met.

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY AND WEBSITE REDEVELOPMENT
FOR THE NORTHWEST ARKANSAS REGIONAL AIRPORT

January 21, 2013

1. INTRODUCTION
The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority (The Airport) is seeking qualifications from interested consultants to provide a social media strategy and associated implementation and staff training. In addition, a review of the existing website shall be performed and modifications provided after consultation with Airport staff. The goal is to make the website easier for the public to navigate and expanded the capability for Airport staff to make the majority of site updates and modifications. Implementation and redevelopment of the website is considered part of this project and shall be included in the quote for the work. Finally, recommendations for new business cards for the staff shall be provided. The purchase of these cards is separate and not to be included in the price proposed for this work.

2. SUBMITTAL DEADLINE
Submittals must be presented no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013, to:

Submittals should be clearly marked “RFP: Social Media Strategy/Website Redevelopment”. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.

3. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE
A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for February 6, 2013, starting at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a tour of the Airport to familiarize Proposers with the facilities. The pre-proposal conference should take no more than two (2) hours. Attendance is mandatory.
The purpose of the conference will be to discuss the requirements and objectives of this RFP and to provide an opportunity for the Airport to respond to questions. A sign-in sheet will record attendance. It is the Proposer’s responsibility to ensure that the Proposer’s attendance is recorded at the pre-proposal conference.
At the pre-proposal conference, the Airport will collect and answer questions from potential proposers. Proposers should note that all questions pertaining to this RFP are to be submitted in writing prior to, or after the pre-proposal conference. Questions may be asked and verbally responded to at the pre-proposal conference. After the pre-proposal conference, additional questions will only be accepted in writing prior to 2:00 p.m. February 13, 2013, via e-mail or at the address listed below. The Airport reserves the right to decline to answer any question received after that date and time.
